Chris and Anne Have Tied the Knot!!
Chris and Anne were married on December 29th at San Francisco City Hall. With family surrounding them, they took their vows and became husband and wife. We then spent a little time taking some photos inside and outside of city hall before heading over to the Palace of Fine Arts for some more photos. Anne and Chris are so fun and easy to photograph, they just light up when they are around each other, making it such a pleasure capturing them in love.

Eugene and Nina Were Engaged and Are Now Married!!!
Nina found me online in what seems forever ago, and presented me a unique opportunity. Her fiance, Eugene (and the majority of the groomsmen, as well as guests), is deaf, and would have to be communicated with through sign language. I had not yet had the experience of working with deaf clients, and the opportunity to do so was a challenge I was up for!
I had the great pleasure to photograph Nina and Eugene's engagement and wedding photos in late November. For their engagement photos, we spent an afternoon in Sunol on the train tracks and then made our way down the road to a train yard I had spotted a few days earlier. I thought it would be a little difficult to give the directions necessary throughout the session, with Eugene not being able to hear me and having the delay of Nina needing to sign, but this was not the case. Eugene was a natural in front of the camera and needed little instruction, and we had a great time roaming around the train yard taking photos. I had so much fun doing this shoot, you two are awesome!
Their wedding was a week or so after the engagement session, at the Black Hawk Auto Museum in Danville. Nina looked like a princess in her full skirted wedding dress (pretty sure this is the biggest dress I've seen this year!), and it was wonderful to see Eugene's happy face the first time he saw her. The ceremony was sweet and lovely, it was a joy watching these two become husband and wife. The reception was a blast, I was surprised and delighted to witness Eugene's dance moves, he knows how to get down! :) Thank you Nina and Eugene, your wedding was truly a wonderful experience and I can't wait to do your Trash the Dress!!
