I was asked to come to a bridal shower to get to know everyone before the wedding in January. I thought Natalie's idea was great, a nice icebreaker before all of us having to work together. I was able to snap a couple of shots of Natalie and Scott before his brother whisked him away from the house of women...and then on to the fun! I had the chance to spend an afternoon with a great group of women and eat some yummy Mexican food. Thanks Natalie! And then came the penis cup! Cake and Sangria...yum!! These two women have been best friends since junior high!
I had the pleasure of taking pictures of beautiful baby Elle for her 1st birthday. We did 3 different sittings in different outfits, took some family portraits, and then I had a blast taking photos of the party and the guests. Elle was so cute and fun to photograph, and her older brother Jack was both shy and a ham for the camera, which made things interesting. It was a fun day to be a part of - Happy Birthday Elle!!
I have been working on pictures for my mom, and it has been quite interesting. I had brought home an album and my mom really liked it and asked me to do one for her of their wedding photos. So I brought home her wedding album and took the time to restore the photos (they are 26 years old) before I could put them in an album. I thought it was pretty cool to look back through the process after I was done, so here are a few examples of how much Lightroom and Photoshop can enhance a photo.

I am a passionate and creative person who loves to find fun and exciting ways to express my creativity. I enjoy all facets in which to stretch the creative muscle - from a BA in Creative Writing, to abstract painting, to tissue mosiacs, to design and finally to digital photography and processing. I have always had a strong interest in photography (I was an avid scrapbooker in high school) and it has been an interesting journey becoming a professional photographer. I have had a great mentor (Erica Berger, you can check out her website and blog at www.ericaberger.info) to show me the ropes in the digital world and I am having a blast being a part of the white (and yet very colorful) world of weddings!
