We celebrated Igor and Nicole's engagement with a portrait session that began on the Embarcadero and ended at the top of Bernal Heights. The weather was fantastic in San Francisco on Monday, and we had a great time wandering on the pier and getting some great city shots from the top of the hill. I can't wait for their wedding in August!
Bill and Ashlea were married in their backyard on June 14 - a beautiful, sunny San Francisco day. This wedding was small and intimate, I felt honored to be a part of it. Most of their family members had flown in from around the country to be with them on their special day (some of them it was their first time in CA!), and it was a lovely day to celebrate. These two are so cute and so very much in love, it was wonderful watching them become husband and wife. I wish you two the very best as your life together moves into the next chapter!
I did an engagement session with Ray and Da`Nae last Friday in the Mission District and Crissy Fields in San Francisco and it was such an awesome session. The alley we shot at in the Mission was so colorful, and so cool, very urban, it was fun and went well with the look these two had. I loved the clothes they were wearing, very classic, old school style - made for some very hip photos. Then we headed over to Crissy Fields so we could have some bridge and beach shots and it was great. The weather was nice and it was so easy to photograph Ray and Da`Nae, they are so in love and so natural in front of the camera. I can't wait for their wedding in August!
I am a passionate and creative person who loves to find fun and exciting ways to express my creativity. I enjoy all facets in which to stretch the creative muscle - from a BA in Creative Writing, to abstract painting, to tissue mosiacs, to design and finally to digital photography and processing. I have always had a strong interest in photography (I was an avid scrapbooker in high school) and it has been an interesting journey becoming a professional photographer. I have had a great mentor (Erica Berger, you can check out her website and blog at www.ericaberger.info) to show me the ropes in the digital world and I am having a blast being a part of the white (and yet very colorful) world of weddings!
