Hi all! I went home in the beginning of September to celebrate my Dad's 50th birthday with him (so I stayed until the 8th, which was his actual birthday) and all our family and friends. It was quite a party - my dad had a great time being the man of honor for the night and it was a lot of fun to enjoy that time with him. The party was held at my parents house so I want to take the time to thank my mom for opening up the house to everyone and to my aunt Chris who catered all the amazing food (and there were 70+ guests - so it was a big job!). And thank you to everyone who came and partied with my dad! My Parents My Mom and Aunt Chris...they made it possible! Smile Everyone! Shots! Happy Birthday!!

Zevi and Roz were married in Hawaii in July, but held a reception here for their family and friends to come together and celebrate their marriage. I had the pleasure of photographing their reception and seeing the wonderful cultural blend of their families. Zevi and his family are Jewish while Roz's family is Hawaiian - so there was lots of Jewish tradition and dancing paired with Hawaiian decor and entertainment. It was a joyous occassion and I had a great time capturing the festivities! Jewish Dancing Guests in their Hawaiian attire Hawaiian Dancers
I am a passionate and creative person who loves to find fun and exciting ways to express my creativity. I enjoy all facets in which to stretch the creative muscle - from a BA in Creative Writing, to abstract painting, to tissue mosiacs, to design and finally to digital photography and processing. I have always had a strong interest in photography (I was an avid scrapbooker in high school) and it has been an interesting journey becoming a professional photographer. I have had a great mentor (Erica Berger, you can check out her website and blog at www.ericaberger.info) to show me the ropes in the digital world and I am having a blast being a part of the white (and yet very colorful) world of weddings!
