I just spent the day with one of my closest friends Gabe (Gabrielle) and her beautiful baby girl Fern and I couldn't stop myself from taking her picture! She is such a gorgeous, happy baby - and she loves having her picture taken :) She has such an infectious smile, you can't help but be happy around her!! And just for you Gabe, her little foot!
Jesper and Sandra said their "I Do's" on Treasure Island this past Sunday and it was beautiful. It was a great day - the sun was shining and the view of the city was wonderful. Sandra looked so lovely and Jesper was always wearing a smile, it was so much fun photographing them throughout the day. Everyone was having such a good time and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to be a part of their special day. You two are so sweet and I wish you the very best, Congratulations!!
We all went to this ranch out in San Juan Bautista (near Gilroy) to trash Jenya's dress. We planned on the horses but the swing over the lake was a pleasant surprise! We got to the ranch about 2 hours before sunset so it was so beautiful and as the sun went down the fog started to roll in, giving everything a dreamy look. I did this session with Erica and she brought these great blue glasses that Jenya wore at the end of the shoot, it turned out great. Jenya and Justin, you are so sweet and I wish you all the best in your life together!
Lisa and Denise were married on August 10th in Redding, CA at the Igo Inn. I felt honored to be a part of their joyful celebration, to watch as history continues to be made with same sex unions. I loved the location of their wedding - not only was it set in a beautiful mountain landscape, but the Igo Inn holds a special spot in Denise's heart. Denise saved this building from being torn down and helped it gain historical recognition - and it managed to escape the fires that burned all over Shasta county. Congratulations Lisa and Denise!
Last week I did a trash the dress session with Christina and Bob and it was a ton of fun! Christina and her dress were absolutely beautiful. We started in the Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate park and then made our way to the waterfall in the middle of Stow Lake. These two were up for anything and made their way into the water! The session ended with Christina and Bob getting under the waterfall for a few romantic kisses, it was amazing! Thanks Christina and Bob for a wonderful trash the dress session.
I am a passionate and creative person who loves to find fun and exciting ways to express my creativity. I enjoy all facets in which to stretch the creative muscle - from a BA in Creative Writing, to abstract painting, to tissue mosiacs, to design and finally to digital photography and processing. I have always had a strong interest in photography (I was an avid scrapbooker in high school) and it has been an interesting journey becoming a professional photographer. I have had a great mentor (Erica Berger, you can check out her website and blog at www.ericaberger.info) to show me the ropes in the digital world and I am having a blast being a part of the white (and yet very colorful) world of weddings!
