Last week I had a fun engagement session with Lyle and Shannon on Treasure Island. Though it was windy (and therefore pretty cold) we made the best of it and had a good time exploring what the island has to offer. Near the end of the session they busted out some coconuts and cut them open to drink the water, I thought this was pretty awesome. They wanted me to try it (I'd never had coconut water before) and so I did, it was pretty tasty :) I can't wait to shoot their wedding in a week and a half!
Pat and Chelsea were married May 8th at the Palm Event Center, and I had the great privilege of sharing this special day with them. The weather was fantastic and the vineyard was beautiful, and Chelsea was a stunning bride. I had so much fun photographing her getting ready and then doing the reveal, these two are so sweet and have so much fun together. The ceremony was heartfelt and genuine, with family and friends watching happily. We had a great sunset opportunity for photos, as well as the full moon on the horizon, everything lined up perfectly for their wedding day. Thank you Chelsea and Pat for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful day! :)
I am a passionate and creative person who loves to find fun and exciting ways to express my creativity. I enjoy all facets in which to stretch the creative muscle - from a BA in Creative Writing, to abstract painting, to tissue mosiacs, to design and finally to digital photography and processing. I have always had a strong interest in photography (I was an avid scrapbooker in high school) and it has been an interesting journey becoming a professional photographer. I have had a great mentor (Erica Berger, you can check out her website and blog at www.ericaberger.info) to show me the ropes in the digital world and I am having a blast being a part of the white (and yet very colorful) world of weddings!
