Out of Town
I just wanted to let all of you know that I will be out of town for the next week taking care of my mom. She was crossing the street last week and was struck by a car, and while she will fully recover, she is pretty banged up and so I will be going down to SoCal to spend some time with her and help my dad in taking care of her. When I return I will get back to blogging the beautiful weddings I have shot this month!

Britt and Dara are Married!!
Dara and Britt became husband and wife on August 29th, a beautiful San Franciscan day at Stern Grove. Dara was absolutely stunning in her stylish dress and accessories to match - and she seemed to glow throughout the evening. These two had one of the sweetest and most unique ceremonies I've been to this season, which included a ring warming ceremony (the rings were placed in a little pouch and passed around so the guests could rub and bless them...Dara and Britt wanted to include everyone in their ceremony, acknowledging that their family and friends had traveled to celebrate with them) and a unity cocktail (I thought this was great hehe). The reception continued to carry the unique theme on with a bacon shaped (and flavored!) groom's cake (it was a surprise) and a scotch and s'mores bar to end the evening. I had such a great time at this wedding, I am so thankful Dara and Britt allowed me to be a part of it!

Ray and Da'Nae are Married!!
Da'Nae and Ray were married August 28th at a beautiful venue in Oakley. The weather was beautiful as well (a tad warm, but hey), but the most lovely was Da'Nae. She radiated - beauty, love, warmth, serenity - it was such a pleasure to be around her on her big day. The ceremony may have been quick, but it was chock full of love and emotion - and ended with a kiss to end all kisses. The portrait session was a blast, with a lively wedding party, a rendition of the last supper, and time for some romance at the end. The reception was a ton of fun as these two celebrated their newly joined lives and danced the warm evening away. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!!
