Jim and Tyler are Married!!

I was so happy to be a part of Jim and Tyler's special day, as they were announced spouses for life in front of the Legion of Honor on Sunday. These two men share something really special and I'm so happy that the state of California has made it legal for them to wed (as it should be!). They had a large wedding party that was so much fun, we had a great time taking photos. When the reception area was opened up and I got a look at the cake I was blown away - the cake was awesome and Tyler designed it! The night ended with Jim and Tyler whisked off in a limo to the airport to catch their flight to Bali, and I hope they are having the time of their lives!

And just as a reminder, we all vote in a week - Vote No on Prop 8!

Mark + Maggie = Married!!!

I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the sweetest couples unite in Half Moon Bay this past Sunday. Maggie was stunning - a beautiful Greek goddess meets Marilyn Monroe, and so much fun to take pictures with! Mark looked handsome in his formal Army uniform - and both of them together were amazing! It was so romantic, Maggie hadn't been allowed to see her ring until Mark actually put it on her finger - her reaction was wonderful :) The weather was beautiful and lent itself well to the fun portraits with the antique car. I had a great time photographing this wedding, thank you so much Maggie and Mark for letting me be a part of your special day!!

Meet Lenore!

My boyfriend and I just got a teacup chihuahua last week. She is the cutest - she'll be 3 months old tomorrow and she is so small (just under 3 pounds). We named her Lenore after a comic book Lucas reads, as well as from 'The Raven' by Edgar Allan Poe. Here are some pictures of her the day after we brought her home - she was exploring so it was hard to get even these few pictures!

Trashing the Dress!!

Jacqueline and Steven met us near the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay to begin their trash the dress session. It was a beautiful day, even though the skies weren't crystal clear, the clouds that were rolling in offered an awesome dramatic background. We walked all over the beach and cliffs snapping photos along the way - these two were so into it and really made the sexy shots just that - sexy! They were so much fun and up for anything - and when two of Jacqueline's bridesmaids showed up to join the fun, everyone went into the ocean. It was a great time and a great trashing!
