Final Weddings of the Season!!

The wedding season is wrapping up, as is my time as a second shooter. I have learned a lot from Erica and am so grateful for the opportunities she provided me. She was my mentor, and has now become a dear friend. This post contains the last three weddings I shot with her, my last as her assistant. I look forward to what the new year will bring, and stay tuned for some fun family shoots I'm doing in the off season! :)

MASIKA AND SHAWN
Masika and Shawn had a sweet ceremony in a beautiful church. These two are such a sweet couple, and it was so wonderful to hear the heartfelt speeches that were given by their loved ones during the reception. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day.

CLARISSA AND SCOTT
Clarissa and Scott were married at the Brazil Room in Berkeley, a truly beautiful location that just got lovelier as the fog rolled in. These two are so much fun, the portrait session was a blast with their lively personalities. Everyone danced the night away, it was such a good time to photograph everyone's dance moves :) I wish you two a lifetime of good times.

AMBER AND ERIK
Amber and Erik had a romantic night ceremony that was tender and warm. They had a large wedding party that was so much fun, it made taking the portraits easy. I especially liked their cake topper - Wonder Woman and Batman (which they dressed up as for Halloween!), it was such a nice reflection of who they are. It was moving to watch so many of their family and friends get up to make a toast to this couple that fit so well together. Thank you and I wish you two the best!!
